Tip: Honor also adopting rear display feature

Honor is reportedly considering adding a secondary rear display for its upcoming smartphones.

The Xiaomi 17 series has already sold millions of units. The lineup’s Pro and Pro Max variants are huge contributors to this success due to their rear displays. As previously reported, the models were among the best sellers in the Xiaomi 17 series.

Now, it seems Honor has noticed this, as it is now allegedly assessing the addition of a 1.7″ rear display to its future phones. Leaker Digital Chat Station claims the feature is planned to be used for camera-focused “slim and lightweight” phones.

The tip did not name the series that will use this, but it could be the Honor 700 series.

To recall, the Honor 600 series has the Honor 600 Pro as the top-of-the-line model. It features a MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Elite chip, a 6.57″ FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED with an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a trio of rear cameras (200MP main camera with OIS + 50MP periscope telephoto with OIS + 12MP ultrawide macro), a 50MP selfie camera, an 8000mAh battery, 80W wired + 50W wireless + 27W reverse wired charging, and complete protection ratings (IP68, IP69, and IP69K).
