Images of a live Xiaomi 18 Fold unit have been circulating online ahead of its arrival.
The Chinese brand confirmed that the foldable will launch next month with Xring O3. According to Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun, it will launch early in September.
While the company confirmed its chip, it has yet to reveal its specs and design. However, a new leak shared photos of an alleged Xiaomi 18 Fold.
The images show the phone with a wide folding design and a horizontal pill-shaped camera island. The photo also confirms one of its colorways, similar to the vibrant red shade of the Redmi K100 Pro Max.
According to rumors, the Xiaomi 18 Fold will feature a 7.5 to 7.6-inch display, a 200MP main camera, a 6000mAh battery, wireless charging, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and Xring O3. It will be priced around CN¥10,000 ($1,477) in China.
