The Vivo X300 Ultra has been slapped with a price hike in China.
The Vivo model was launched in March. It debuted with a CN¥6,999 ($1,045) base price. However, the entire smartphone industry has been disrupted by the memory price hike, prompting brands to raise device prices.
Now, the latest victim of the hike is the X300 Ultra in China. From its original debut price, the phone now starts at CN¥7,499 ($1,120) for its 2GB/256GB variant. That is a CN¥500 increase for the said configuration. Sadly, that is not everything. The increase depends on the configuration, and it can reach up to CN¥2,000 ($299).
Here is the complete new pricing for the Vivo X300 Ultra’s configurations:
- 12GB/256GB: CN¥7,499 (from CN¥6,999)
- 12GB/512GB: CN¥7,999 (from CN¥7,499)
- 16GB/512GB: CN¥8,999 (from CN¥7,999)
- 16GB/1TB Satellite Communication: CN¥9,999 (from CN¥8,999)
- 16GB/1TB Photographer Kit: CN¥13,999 (from CN¥11,999)
