Vivo X300s, X300 Ultra debut with powerful cameras, Photography Kit

After a long wait, the Vivo X300s and Vivo X300 Ultra have finally arrived in the market.

The new Vivo smartphones joined the Vivo X300 series, which earlier introduced the vanilla X300 and the X300 Pro. The first models are already impressive in terms of their cameras, but Vivo takes it even further in the S and Ultra variants of the series.

The S model has a 200MP 1/1.4” Samsung HPB main camera, a 50MP 50MP 1/1.95” Sony Lytia 602 telephoto, and a 50MP 1/2.76” Samsung JN1 ultrawide. In front, it features a 50MP selfie camera. Meanwhile, the Ultra variant boasts the new 200MP 1/1.12” 35mm Sony Lytia 901 main camera (with CIPA 6.5 stabilization, f/1.85), which works alongside a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP0 1/1.4” with CIPA 7.0 OIS and a 50MP ultrawide.

Both phones also support optional teleconverter attachments. Even the S model works with the Zeiss G2 teleconverter lens, which offers the equivalent of 200mm focal length. It also comes with a mounting plate and a photography case. The Ultra comes with a better kit, which includes the “Cannon 400” 400mm 17.4x unit and the Lipstick 200” 200mm 8.7x teleconverter.

In the software department, the camera system has also received improvements, including multi-focal 4K 120fps 10-bit Log video recording, optical stabilization for all cameras, Multi-Focal 4K Master Color Video, and more.

Of course, the other areas of the phones are also as impressive as their cameras, thanks to their Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (for the Ultra) and MediaTek Dimensity 9500 (X300s) chips, huge batteries, 144Hz displays, and strong protection ratings.

The Vivo X300s comes in Titanium Black, Silver, Dream Core Purple, and Film Green colorways. Its configurations include 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB, 16GB/1TB, and 16GB/1TB Photography Kit, priced at CN¥5,000, CN¥5,500, CN¥6,000, CN¥7,000, and CN¥8,000, respectively.

The Vivo X300 Ultra, on the other hand, is available in Green, Silver, and Black, with configurations including 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB, 16GB/1TB Satellite Communication, and 16GB/1TB Photographer Kit, priced at CN¥6,999, CN¥7,499, CN¥7,999, CN¥8,999, and CN¥11,999, respectively.
