Vivo flaunts X300 Ultra’s 200MP cams, 1600mm zoom power in sample shots

Vivo released some official shots taken using the upcoming Vivo X300 Ultra to highlight its powerful lenses and zoom capabilities.

The Vivo smartphone is expected to arrive this month. Ahead of its debut, the company continues teasing fans about its high-powered camera system.

In the brand’s latest move, Vivo Product Manager Han Bo Xiao posted unedited sample shots of the phone. In the post, the executive underscored that the device features two 200MP lenses for the main and telephoto cameras.

According to Vivo, the primary camera is powered by the Sony LYTIA-901 1/1.12″ 35mm lens, which it claims can increase the equivalent light-sensitive area per pixel by over 30% and offers a CIPA 6.5 image stabilization rating.

The Zeiss 200MP Thanos Gen 5 telephoto, meanwhile, is a product of collaboration between Vivo Blueprint and Samsung. The system will be further boosted by the Vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen2 Ultra tool, which can produce quality details even at a 1600mm digital crop.

Han Bo Xiao demonstrated the teleconverter’s capabilities by showing the shot’s rich details even after extensive digital cropping:
