According to a new claim, the Vivo X300 Ultra is set to be announced this month.
The news follows the brand’s aggressive marketing campaign featuring the model. While we’ve already heard a lot about its camera capabilities and other specifications, Vivo remains secretive about its final launch date. Yet, according to a tip from China, the device would be unveiled later this month. Based on the company’s past announcements for the X100 Ultra and X200 Ultra, we might hear about it on March 30 (Monday).
According to Vivo, the device will be a powerful camera smartphone with a 200MP main camera, equipped with a Sony LYTIA-901 1/1.12″ 35mm lens. The new component increases the equivalent light-sensitive area per pixel by over 30% and offers a CIPA 6.5 image stabilization rating.
The phone also features a Zeiss 200MP Thanos Gen 5 telephoto lens, based on HPE and said to be the result of a collaboration between Vivo Blueprint and Samsung. It features a 3° OIS, beating the traditional 0.7º to 1º telephoto optical image stabilization range. The executive claims that the camera’s CIPA 7.0 professional-grade image stabilization is generally found only in professional cameras. As per reports, the rear system will also have a 50MP Sony LYT828 ultrawide and a 5MP multispectral sensor.
Its camera power is further improved by the Vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen2 Ultra, which, when combined with the phone’s power, can offer up to 800mm zoom range. Vivo claims it can still produce quality details even at a 1600mm digital crop.
