Honor Play 20C is also a budget model with a rear display

Honor wants to underscore that you can get a smartphone with a secondary screen without breaking the bank. As such, it has unveiled another device with the said feature—the Honor Play 20C.

The news immediately follows the unveiling of the Honor X5d s 4G, which boasts the same feature. To recall, the concept is not new for Honor, which introduced it earlier in the Honor Play 20A 4G back in August, following the resurgence of the feature trend triggered by the Xiaomi 17 Pro series.

Now, the brand has doubled down on emphasizing that such a high-end feature is also available in budget models. The Play 20C adopted the same rear display detail as the Play 20A. Like its series sibling, the screen will allow users to see notifications even when the phone is lying face flat on the surface. The screen can display various information, including time, music, and messages, and can also be used with the rear camera for selfies.

The phone is listed on the brand’s global website and costs around $110, depending on the market.
