According to a reputable tipster, Huawei might be developing a smartphone model with a display measuring just 6.17 inches.
This is a surprise since compact phones are not exactly a huge success in the industry. As such, it is a bit of a shock that the Chinese giant is willing to risk it by trying to offer a phone of such a size again.
To underscore, we still have phones with 6.3” displays in the market. However, Digital Chat Station claims that the upcoming phone will have a smaller 6.17” flat screen with a 1.5K resolution.
To recall, Huawei previously released compact phones with smaller displays, including the Huawei P40 (6.1 inches), Huawei P20 (5.8 inches), Huawei P9 Lite (5.0 inches), Huawei Nova 2 (5.0 inches), and more.
Sadly, the phone’s details remain unknown, but DCS says it is now in development.
