Zenfone 11 Ultra will feature a 65W wired fast charging capability and will not be much different from ROG Phone 8 based on its frontal image.
ASUS is set to launch the Zenfone 11 Ultra globally on March 14, with the announcement set to happen in the company’s virtual event. However, prior to that event, certain details of the model were revealed through the model’s Wireless Power Consortium certification. According to the document, the Zenfone 11 Ultra will have 15W wireless charging like the Zenfone 10 or ROG Phone 8 series smartphones. This is not surprising, nonetheless, as the details in the certification show that the phone has the same AI2401_xxxx model number as the ROG Phone 8 series. As for its wired charging, it is revealed that the unit will be given a 5,500 mAh battery and a 65W wired fast charging capability.
Aside from these charging details, the certification shared an image of the smartphone’s front design. Judging by the picture itself, it can be highly compared to the ROG Phone 8, with a punch-hole cutout situated in the center and a flat display surrounded by moderately thin bezels.
These details add to the earlier reports shared online. According to leakers, aside from those, the Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, with 16GB RAM complementing this. It will also feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Inside, it will house a decent camera system consisting of a 50MP primary lens, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a 32MP telephoto lens capable of 3x optical zoom. Ultimately, the model will reportedly be offered in Desert Sienna, Eternal Black, Skyline Blue, Misty Gray, and Verdure Green color options.
