Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra secures high Geekbench scores with alleged Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC

The Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra has appeared on Geekbench, sporting a chip believed to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

The Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra will be available on February 6. Ahead of that date, the model visited Geekbench, where it was spotted with the ASUSAI2501H model number, the same identification it has on its IMEI listing.

The phone sports 16GB RAM and Android 15 OS alongside a Qualcomm processor, which could be the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The device scored 3,036 and 9,656 points in the single-core and multi-core tests on the platform. The numbers are quite impressive and reflect the recent scores received by devices running the same chip.

Details about the Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra remain scarce, but it is rumored to be based on the company’s ROG Phone 9 Pro model. As such, the Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra could also offer the same specs as the ROG Phone 9 Pro, which has:

  • Snapdragon 8 Elite

  • 512GB UFS4.0 storage (1TB for ROG Phone 9 Pro Edition)
