Asus has finally unveiled its latest flagship offering in the market: the Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra.
The new model comes with impressive features, with most of the highlights dedicated to its camera and AI departments. To start, the Zenfone 12 Ultra features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship chip, which brings huge improvements over the phone’s predecessor in terms of CPU, GPU, and NPU. The SoC also allows the AI capabilities in the Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra, including its AI Tracking Lock feature, AI Portrait Video, AI Call Translator 2.0, AI Transcript 2.0, and more.
Asus has also improved the phone’s camera department, with the Zenfone 12 Ultra now boasting the 6-Axis Hybrid Gimbal Stabilizer 4.0. This complements the phone’s impressive camera system, which is composed of a 50MP Sony Lytia 700 1/1.56″ main camera with OIS, a 13MP ultrawide, and a 32MP telephoto with OIS and 3X optical zoom. In front, there’s a 32MP RGBW sensor for selfies.
The Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra also houses a 5500mAh battery, which is complemented by 65W wired and 15W wireless charging support. Moreover, unlike most smartphones these days, the Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra still has support for a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra is available in Sage Green, Ebony Black, and Sakura White. Configurations include 12GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB.
