OnePlus President Li Jie Louis hinted that the brand will soon unveil devices with high refresh rates.
Apple has unveiled its iPhone 17 series, which now features 120Hz displays. However, the executive revealed that his brand would take it further, suggesting that the company would soon introduce devices with refresh rates of more than 120Hz.
The news follows earlier rumors about the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Ace 6 having high refresh rates, leading to speculation that the executive was talking about the said models.
According to reports, the Ace 6 is coming with a 6.83″ flat 1.5K 165Hz OLED with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. The phone is also rumored to house the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip and sport an IP68-rated body.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus 15 is rumored to have a lower resolution for its display than the OnePlus 13. Nonetheless, its refresh rate will be faster at 165Hz, which will complement its 1.5K resolution.
As per leaks, the OnePlus 15 will arrive in Sand Dune (Titanium), Absolute Black, and Mist Purple colors. It is also rumored to be coming with a lower price tag, with a tip saying the brand is planning a new approach to attract buyers. Despite this, it will feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip. According to rumors, the OnePlus 15 will arrive in five configurations: 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB.
