A live unit of the upcoming Honor 500 model has surfaced online.
The Honor 500 series is expected to arrive in November. Ahead of the launch, several leaks have started emerging.
The latest one involves an actual model, revealing its design. According to the leak, the phone has a design similar to that of the Honor 400 Pro, but its back panel is going to be flat. The phone also boasts a silver finish with a marble-like design. In front, the phone features a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.

As per reports, the Honor 500 Pro model could use a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and is said to have the largest battery in its class. In the camera department, the phone is expected to feature a 200MP 1/1.4″ main camera, which is allegedly paired with a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom.
According to DCS last month, the Honor 500 series would be “stronger” than the Honor 400 models. To recall, the Honor 400 is limited to an IP66 rating, while the Honor Pro has IP68 and IP69 ratings. This could mean that both the 500 and 500 Pro would soon offer the same high-protection ratings or higher.
