The camera and processor of the rumored Honor 500 Pro model have leaked online.
The Honor 500 series is now approaching its launch timeline. While the brand has not yet shared any details about the phones, they are expected to launch this quarter. Ahead of the brand’s official announcements, a tip from China revealed some of the information about the Pro variant.
According to the tip, the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and is said to have the largest battery in its class.
In the camera department, the phone is expected to feature a 200MP 1/1.4″ main camera, which is allegedly paired with a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom.
According to reputable leaker Digital Chat Station, the Honor 500 series would be “stronger” than the Honor 400 models. To recall, the Honor 400 is limited to an IP66 rating, while the Honor Pro has IP68 and IP69 ratings. This could mean that both the 500 and 500 Pro would soon offer the same high-protection ratings or higher.
