Honor is reportedly making a huge change in the upcoming Magic 8 series by not offering the Porsche edition model.
The brand is known for offering special edition models with a Porsche-inspired design. We saw this in the Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design, Magic 7 RSR, and Magic 6 RSR, which all feature an automotive-inspired luxury design.
However, it seems to be changing with the Honor Magic 8 series, which is allegedly dropping the said special variant. The reason behind the move is currently unknown, but speculations say that it has something to do with the contract between the two brands or the sales involving Honor Magic RSR models.
Others, on the other hand, believe that Honor could soon replace the RSR models in the Magic series with better models, including the Ultra variant. If true, this would be more exciting for fans since the special edition is commonly based on the series’ Pro models. For instance, the Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design is based on the Honor Magic 7 Pro.
