Honor Magic 9 series 55MP square selfie cam confirmed as more specs leak

Honor has announced that the Honor Magic 9 series will be the first to feature a 55MP square selfie camera. Meanwhile, more leaks have surfaced involving the lineup.

The series is equipped with high-spec camera features, and Honor recently confirmed that the devices will feature ARRI tech. The series is also expected to support a 500mm teleconverter kit.

Additionally, the Chinese brand revealed that it is the first Android series to offer a 55MP square selfie camera. The brand calls it the Agile Eye, featuring a 55MP lens and a square-shaped design. It is important to note, however, that the feature will be limited to the vanilla and Honor Magic 9 Pro Max models.

One of the main advantages of a square selfie unit is the wider frame. As noted previously, the new selfie format will deliver better selfie shots, whether in portrait or landscape orientation.

Meanwhile, leaks continue to surface online, divulging the details of the phones early.
