According to a tipster, the Honor Magic 9 series will be introduced at the same timeline as its predecessor.
The Honor Magic 8 series was launched in China in October 2025. Reports say its successor is now in the works, and a new tip suggests it will launch in October as well.
The leak also indicates upgrades, including a new design and the upcoming MagicOS 11. The device is also tipped to feature a flat display and an enhanced camera department, with the latter getting the German brand ARRI technology. The collaboration is said to improve the system’s photography and video recording capabilities. To recall, the Honor and ARRI collaboration was confirmed at Mobile World Congress 2026, with the Honor Robot Phone expected to be the first model to benefit from it.
According to an earlier report, the series will also get bigger batteries. The vanilla mode, Magic 9, is expected to feature a gigantic 8000mAh battery despite its small size. Rumors say that it will also feature a periscope unit, wireless charging, and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
