The Honor Robot Phone will be officially unveiled on July 28, the brand has confirmed.
Honor will present the device alongside ARRI, a premier German manufacturer and global brand specializing in high-end motion picture cameras and media services for the film and broadcast industry.
In addition to its AI capabilities, the phone is expected to feature powerful video features. According to a recent image by the brand, the device will feature a Master Cinema mode, believed to be co-created with ARRI. The photo also shows a joystick-like button on the interface, instead of the usual shutter button.
The ARRI-powered camera system reportedly features a 200MP f/1.6 23mm main camera, echoing earlier reports of a built-in gimbal. The said lens is paired with a 50MP ultrawide and a 200MP periscope telephoto unit. The main highlight of the system is its 4D gimbal stabilization, featuring 360° rotation tracking and intelligent camera movement at 90° and 180°. It is also expected to deliver a CIPA 5.5-level image stabilization with a 96% walking-shake compensation rate. According to reports, the Honor Robot Phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. Its display measures only 6.3 to 6.4 inches and boasts a 1.5K resolution and extremely thin bezels.
