An Honor official said the Honor Robot Phone received more than 400,000 pre-orders.
The Honor device is now official in China and features the industry’s smallest 4D titanium gimbal system. The phone impresses in all aspects, thanks to its Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, a 6.3″ 1-120Hz OLED, 7060mAh battery, 120W wired and 50W wireless charging, and more.
The main highlight of the handheld is its camera system, which features a built-in gimbal, real-time auto-framing, and AI subject tracking. In addition to the 200MP 1/1.28″ main camera and a 200MP 1/1.4″ periscope telephoto lens with 2.7x optical zoom, the Honor Robot Phone is also a product of the company’s collaboration with ARRI. To this end, the system can deliver cinematic effects, thanks to the Log-C3 video encoding, LUT color grading, and other features.
Given the phone’s remarkable features, it is not surprising that it was met with high demand upon its arrival. According to Luo Wei, Honor Chief Imaging Engineer and Architect, the phone collected a massive number of pre-orders. The official even encouraged fans to purchase the phone already, noting “if you don’t act now, you probably won’t be able to buy one.” (machine translated)
