To showcase the gimbal-level capabilities of the Honor Robot Phone, Honor has published a sample clip shot with the device.
The device will debut in the third quarter of the year. While its official launch date remains under wraps, the phone has already been making several public appearances. To start, we already know its design, which features a folding omnidirectional camera head. The phone is said to combine AI and a gimbal system to capture subjects with pure clarity and precision.
At the recent Shanghai International Film Festival, the brand showed off the device. In addition to letting SIFF attendees take selfies, the brand also captured cinematic video portrait clips of the SIFF jury members using the phone.
The sample shows the phone’s impressive shots with a gimbal-like level of stability. Even the tones and color transitions of the sample are remarkable, and it is no surprise, given the brand’s recent confirmation of its partnership with ARRI, a premier German manufacturer and global brand specializing in high-end motion picture cameras and media services for the film and broadcast industry.
