New clips online have surfaced, flaunting the powerful gimbal-like capabilities of the Honor Robot Phone.
The brand joined the MWC event this year, where it formally introduced the unreleased phone to the fans. While it remains mum on the device’s actual release timeline, reports say it could arrive in the second half of the year.
In the past few months, the company released videos highlighting the device’s sentient-like AI concept and gimbal-level stabilization. While we still can’t personally confirm the claims, new clips circulating in China suggest it could be armed with an effective stabilization system.
According to the clips, the phone’s motorized camera can be activated instantly. Even more, the camera component itself indeed works like a gimbal, following the user’s movements while holding the phone. The clip also shows the gimbal quality of the sample video recording.
According to Honor CEO Li Jian, the device will feature AI interaction capabilities and high-definition camera imaging. This is not surprising, as the brand also teased these details through the clip materials it earlier shared, showing that the phone’s camera can interact independently with subjects. As per a tipster, it will challenge productivity-optimized devices with features for live streaming and content creation.
