The MIUI software is an operating system for the modern smartphones. It is developed by Xiaomi and released in 2010. The software is included with most of the smartphones released by Xiaomi. The MIUI software includes a sidebar that contains frequently used apps and settings. You can access this sidebar by swiping to the right on your home screen. How to turn on the sidebar
Turning it on is quite easy. Just follow the steps below.
Open the settings app. Then scroll down to “Special features”. And then, find “Floating windows”(might be different for some else MIUI versions). And from there, turn on the feature.

As you can see, it has quite a few features. It allows the user to quickly launch an app from the sidebar in the floating window state, and infact if you’re using MIUI 13 based on Android 12 or higher, you can also launch more than just one floating app along with the ability to minimize them.
But if you’re on MIUI 12.5 or below based on Android 11 or less, you unfortunately can launch only one app and not multiple. This is a limitation on MIUI itself below than MIUI 13.
