A well-known tipster has shared key specifications of the Huawei Mate 90 Pro Max and the Huawei Mate 90 RS.
The Mate 90 series rumor mill has already started rolling, and the latest tip focuses on the high-end Pro Max and RS models, courtesy of well-known leaker Digital Chat Station. While the post is now deleted, the tip points to the aforementioned variants.
According to the leak, both models will house batteries with capacities of around 6800mAh to 7000mAh. Their OLED displays allegedly measure 6.9 inches, and are said to be “significantly improved.” To recall, the Mate 80 Pro Max and Mate 80 RS Master Ultimate Design have a 6.9″ FHD+ 1-120Hz OLED. As per earlier reports, the entire Mate 90 series will finally get in-display scanners.
Ultimately, the leak claims that the next Pro Max and RS will have upgraded camera systems. DCS noted that there would be two 50MP periscope telephoto cameras, with one featuring 10x optical zoom.
To compare, the current Pro Max and RS models have a 50MP f1.4-f4.0 RYYB main camera with OIS, a 40MP RYYB ultrawide, a 50MP f2.1 RYYB macro telephoto with OIS, a 50MP f3.2 RYYB periscope telephoto with OIS and 6.2x optical zoom, and a 2nd Gen Red Maple lens.
