Pre-orders for the Huawei Nova 16 SE are now open in China.
The Chinese giant has revealed that it will announce several devices on August 5, including the SE variant of the Nova 16 series. Ahead of the date, the company has shared the first official poster of the smartphone, which features an iPhone 17 Pro-like rectangular camera island and a flat side frame and back panel.
Its VMall listing shows the phone in a gradient Sakura Snow Sky color and a 256GB variant. A leak also revealed that it will be offered in orange and black shades.
According to an earlier leak, Huawei originally planned to release the Enjoy 90X Premium Edition but decided to upgrade it to the Huawei Nova 16 SE to justify the price hike. According to a tip, the device will start at CN¥2,000 ($296) in China.
As part of the “upgrade,” the Nova 16 series device is reportedly coming with a Kirin 8020 processor and the first-generation Red Maple imaging system. It is also reportedly coming with a flat 1.5K LTPS OLED, a 50MP main camera, and an 8500mAh battery.
