Huawei has confirmed that the Pura X Max will feature an AI eye-tracking and page-tracking capability. The phone also boasts stylus support and an AI-aided drawing feature.
The Huawei foldable will launch in China on April 20. It will be announced alongside the Pura 90 series, replacing the original Pura X model. It will arrive with a bigger display, a new chip, and a larger battery.
Another huge highlight of the phone is its AI capability. According to Huawei, it will use AI eye-tracking to turn the pages of an eBook.
The phone is also said to come with a stylus. The phone’s marketing clip shows that the tool lets users draw anything, and the Born to Draw application will do the rest to polish it.
Sadly, according to an earlier leak, it will face a huge price increase with a starting price of over CN¥10,000 ($1,464). To recall, the Pura X only debuted with a base price of CN¥7,499 ($1,098).
The Huawei Pura X Max is now available for pre-order in Midnight Black, Zero White, Interstellar Blue, Olive Gold, and Vibrant Orange. Its configuration variants include 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB Collector’s Edition, and 16GB/1TB Collector’s Edition.
