Infinix has joined the party of brands showing interest in the tri-fold market with the unveiling of its ZERO Series Mini Tri-Fold concept.
Huawei is the first company to release the first tri-fold model in the market with its Huawei Mate XT. Currently, it is the only tri-fold model in the market, but several brands have released their tri-fold concepts in the past, although we still haven’t heard of plans for those ideas coming to life. Now, Infinix is the latest brand to showcase its own tri-fold concept.
Interestingly, it is not like any other tri-fold idea with huge displays divided into three. According to Infinix, the ZERO Series Mini Tri-Fold is just like a regular-sized smartphone. However, it folds into three vertically, giving it a compact form comparable to a flip phone.
This foldable flexibility makes it an ideal device for various purposes. In its press release, the brand suggested some possible ways it can be used.
“Unlike conventional foldables that simply expand into a larger screen, this next-generation device shifts effortlessly between multiple modes,” the press release reads. “It stands upright for hands-free calls, entertainment, and quick access on the go. With its innovative strap accessory, it can be securely attached to gym equipments, bicycle handlebars, or even a car dashboard, allowing users to track workouts, follow guided exercise routines, or navigate routes—all while keeping their hands free. When mounted on a bag strap or placed on a surface, it transforms into a compact camera, capturing dynamic moments from the perfect angle.”
While this is interesting, it is important to note that the ZERO Series Mini Tri-Fold is still in the concept stage. Infinix has not officially announced whether it will be released, but we hope to see it in the market soon.
