Latest leak reveals OnePlus 13 camera lenses

The OnePlus 13 is believed to be armed with a powerful camera system. According to the latest leak, its ultrawide and periscope lenses will be upgraded.

The latest wave of leaks comes from reputable leaker Digital Chat Station on Weibo. In his recent post, the tipster shared the specific lenses that could be used in the cameras of the rumored OnePlus 13.

According to the tipster, the main camera of the OnePlus 13 will still employ the 50MP Sony LYT-808 sensor, which is also being used in the OnePlus 12.

Despite that, the device’s ultrawide and periscope lenses are believed to be getting some improvements. According to DCS, both sections will now be armed with 50MP Sony IMX882 sensors, with the periscope reportedly receiving a 3x zoom. If true, this means the OnePlus 13 will boast a triple 50MP camera system, unlike its predecessor.

Ultimately, the tipster noted that the Hasselblad technology will be injected into the device’s camera system, which complements earlier rumors about the phone.

On the other hand, as per the camera’s arrangement, earlier reports suggest that the OnePlus 13’s rear camera island will be placed in the upper middle part of the back panel, which is different from the current design of the OnePlus 12.

Aside from these details, the OnePlus 13 is believed to be getting the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, a 2K 8T LTPO custom screen with an equal-depth micro-curved glass cover, an on-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and an extra-large battery. Sadly, rumors claim that the wireless charging support will be removed from the device to give way to its bigger battery.
