Tipster Digital Chat Station is back for more information about the upcoming Vivo X Fold 4 model.
According to earlier reports, the launch of the Vivo X Fold 4 was pushed back to the third quarter of the year. As fans continue to wait for Vivo’s official words about the phone, tipsters continue to provide leaked details online.
In a recent post, DCS claimed that the Vivo X Fold 4 would only get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, unlike earlier leaks claiming it would be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship SoC. When asked why the phone is not using the latest chip, DCS suggested that it could significantly increase the price of the phone.
In addition to that, the tipster also shared the other details of the phone, including its side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 50MP periscope unit, wireless charging support, and IPX8 rating. According to the tipster, the phone will also house a battery with a capacity of about 6000mAh, but it will be “ultra-light and thin.”
From earlier leaks, we also learned that the Vivo X Fold 4 could have a circular and centered camera island, a press-type three-stage button, a 50MP ultrawide camera, a 50MP main camera, and a macro function and a 3x optical zoom for its periscope.
