New details about the HMD Pulse 2 Pro have surfaced. However, the latest leak opposes some of the earlier rumored information about the phone.
Leaks about the HMD device started as early as November 2024. In September, the design of the handheld was divulged. It reportedly features a large, horizontal, rectangular camera island with an internal, vertical, pill-shaped module inside. We have also heard about the alleged specifications of the phone in recent months. However, as the months go by, several changes involving the phone’s details occur. According to earlier reports, the device was supposed to have the following:

In a new leak, however, some of these details have changed. According to a new tip, the upcoming HMD Pulse 2 Pro is now coming with the following specifications:

- 128GB and 256GB storage
- 6.72” 1080p+ 90Hz IPS display
- 50MP main camera + 8MP ultrawide
- 50MP selfie camera
- 5000mAh battery

- Side-mounted fingerprint sensor
- NFC support
- IP52 rating
According to reports, the Pro model will launch alongside the HMD Pulse 2 and HMD Pulse 2+ variants. The devices are expected to share similar details, although some differences are still anticipated. As per leaks, the Plus model could arrive with a 6.7″ 720p+ 120Hz display, a 50MP main camera, and a 13MP selfie camera. The vanilla mode, on the other hand, is rumored to come with a 6.7″ 720p+ 90Hz display, a dual camera system (50MP + 2MP), and an 8MP selfie camera.
