Nothing Phone (4a) series reportedly coming on this date

According to a new leak, the Nothing Phone (4a) and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro will be unveiled next month.

The London-based brand has recently started talking about the phones, which are expected to bring some upgrades. The company, however, remains mum about the specifics of the devices, including their official launch timeline. Thankfully, tipster Yogesh Brar has revealed the series’ alleged debut date, reportedly March 5.

The leaker also claimed that the lineup will feature improvements in the design, battery, storage, and chip. However, the account also noted that there will be a price increase

The news is not entirely new, as Nothing CEO Carl Pei earlier revealed that some of the company’s products launching in the first quarter will be more expensive. While he didn’t mention the devices, it could be the Nothing Phone (4a) series.

According to Pei, the devices will now utilize UFS 3.1 (as opposed to UFS 2.2 in their predecessors). Yet, as the executive underscored, prices will now be higher. To recall, the vanilla Nothing Phone (3a) starts at €330 for its 8GB/128GB configuration. The Nothing Phone (3a) Pro, on the other hand, costs €460 for a 12GB/256GB configuration.

Other details expected from the Nothing Phone (4a) and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro include the Snapdragon 7-series chips. The Pro model is also allegedly coming with a 5080mAh battery, 50W charging, and an IP64 rating.
