Nubia V80 Design 4G arrives with familiar design

The Nubia V80 Design 4G is finally here. At first glance, however, you might confuse it for another model due to its design.

That’s because the new Nubia phone resembles the design of the latest iPhone 17, which features a horizontal rectangular camera island on its back. It also features three circular lens cutouts arranged in the same position, as well as a flash unit located on the upper right corner of the module. However, the Nubia logo in the lower right corner gives it away. This similarity, nonetheless, is not surprising, as the brand also appears to have copied the iPhone 17 Air with its Nubia Air model.

The design is not the only standout about the phone. It also features 10W reverse charging support, bypass charging, the offline communication Bluetooth feature known as Nubia Linkfree, and an AI button.

Yet, despite its premium-looking appearance, the new Nubia model is still an affordable smartphone with some entry-level features, including a Unisoc T7280 chip, a 6.75” LCD, and a 5000mAh battery. The phone is now available in Malaysia and the Philippines.
