The OnePlus 13 will reportedly employ a new design on its camera island. Alongside the news, a reliable tipster teased the details of the handheld’s display and price tag.
The upcoming flagship is expected to launch in October or November. Thanks to the arrival of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and Dimensity 9400 chips, several other smartphones will join it, according to Digital Chat Station.
In line with this, DCS revealed that the OnePlus 13 will have a “four-curved straight screen.” This means despite having curves on its edges, they won’t be entirely prominent and overshadow the straight display design.
The OnePlus 13 is said to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip inside, which is expected to cost higher than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Nonetheless, as DCS claimed, the prices of the phones that will be powered by the said chip (and Dimensity 9400) “will not increase significantly.”
Ultimately, the tipster said that the OnePlus 13’s camera island will have a design change. Although DCS underscored that the lens setup would be the same as the one in the OnePlus 12, the account added that the round DECO in the upper left corner would have no hinge.
This complements a separate leak from the tipster, who shared four schematics of unnamed Snapdragon 8 Gen 4-equipped smartphones. One of the phones sports a circular module in the upper left part of the back panel, which suggests that it could be the OnePlus 13.
