The OnePlus 15 is one of the latest models to support AirDrop.
Apple’s AirDrop feature is no longer Apple-exclusive. Google brought AirDrop compatibility to Android by building a native interoperability layer within Quick Share (formerly Nearby Share), which replicates Apple’s proprietary communication protocols.
The feature is now slowly rolling out to some Android devices. After initially landing on Pixel and some Samsung models, it is now available on the OnePlus 15.
While it is kind of frustrating that the OnePlus 15 is the brand’s only model to get AirDrop support, it is expected to arrive on more Android devices in the future. To recall, it rolled out to the Xiaomi 17T Pro.
