According to a new tip, the OnePlus 16 and iQOO 16 will join other flagship models in having earlier debuts this year.
In the past, we welcomed most flagship lines in the fourth quarter. However, it seems several Chinese companies are now considering introducing their creations a bit earlier than usual.
The latest to join the party reportedly includes the OnePlus 16 and iQOO 16, which will allegedly now arrive in September. To recall, the OnePlus 15 and iQOO 15 launched in October last year. As per earlier leaks, the Xiaomi 18 series, Vivo X500 series, and Oppo Find X10 series will also launch in the same month.
According to earlier reports, the iQOO 16 has a 185Hz display, an upgrade over the iQOO 15’s 6.85” flat Samsung M14 2K (3168×1440px) 144Hz LTPO AMOLED. Meanwhile, the OnePlus 16 is also reportedly coming with a 185Hz display and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Currently, the brand’s flagship phone features a 50MP f/2.8 telephoto with OIS and 3.5x optical zoom. Sadly, both phones are expected to face a $145 price hike.
