Leaker: Upcoming OnePlus Ace 5 series model to use Dimensity 9400e

Tipster Digital Chat Station claimed that a new OnePlus Ace 5 series model will arrive with a Dimensity 9400e chip.

The OnePlus Ace 5 series is now available in China, and DCS revealed that one of the models in the lineup has already reached over a million activations. With this, the brand wants to take advantage of the continuous success of the series by introducing a new model: the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition.

According to DCS, the model will be the first to employ the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chip. The SoC is expected to exceed the power of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and even challenge the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC. According to rumors, the chip will have the same core configurations as the Dimensity 9300 and 9300+ (1x Cortex-X4 prime core, 3x Cortex-X4 performance cores, and 4x Cortex-A720 cores) but will have better clock speeds.

Aside from the chip, DCS revealed in an earlier post that the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition will also feature a 6.77″ flat LTPS display, a 16MP selfie camera, a 50MP + 2MP rear camera setup, an optical fingerprint scanner, a “large” battery, a plastic frame, and a decent price.

OnePlus is also expected to introduce the OnePlus Ace 5s (AKA OnePlus Ace 5 Supreme/Ultimate Edition). According to rumors, the phone could offer a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip and some similar specs to the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition.

Stay tuned for updates!
