OnePlus has addressed reports of the company’s alleged upcoming closure.
Days ago, we heard about a report claiming that the results of a “three-continent investigation” suggested the company would soon stop its operations. The report also cited four independent analyst firms that affirmed the rumors and mentioned reasons, including declining shipments, the abrupt closure of headquarters, product cancellations, and the end of partnerships.
Now, the gossip has finally reached the brand. To this end, the brand’s North American office stepped forward to address the allegations, stating, “OnePlus North America continues to operate, with full guarantee of users’ after-sales support, software updates, and rights commitments.”
India CEO Robin Liu also shared the same comment and urged “all stakeholders to verify information from official sources before sharing unsubstantiated claims.”
The news camera amid reports of the upcoming OnePlus 15T in China. However, its anticipated India counterpart, the OneOlus 15S, is reportedly canceled. According to a recent report, the brand also axed the OnePlus Open 2.
