Oppo Reno 16 series pre-order starts ahead of May launch

Oppo has confirmed that the Oppo Reno 16 series will launch this May. In line with this, the brand has opened the reservations for the lineup.

The details and design of the series remain under wraps, but the page confirms that the series includes the vanilla Oppo Reno 16 and the Oppo Reno 16 Pro. A Pro Max model is also expected to join the series soon.

According to a previous tip from Digital Chat Station, it will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chip and will arrive in several configuration options, including 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB. However, he noted that the top-level 1TB storage option may not debut. In terms of its color options, it will be offered in white, black, purple, and green.

In front, it will feature a 6.78″ flat 1.5K LTPO display with thin bezels, complemented by a metal frame. At the back, the device is said to feature a 200MP main camera paired with a periscope lens unit. Inside, the phone will house a battery with a capacity of around 7000mAh.
