According to a new leak, Oppo is considering adding support for teleconverters in the Oppo Reno 17 series.
The Reno 16 series is now in China and global markets. Now, it seems the brand is already working on the next Reno series, as a tip suggests a new addition to its camera system.
According to tipster Smart Pikachu, the brand is assessing the use of an attachable external lens to the lineup. This should give the series more edge in the competition, especially since the Vivo X series offers it.
To recall, this is not new for Vivo, as it offers it in the Find X9 series. However, providing the same level of support to the Reno lineup should elevate its marketing game in the segment.
Currently, Oppo’s modular Hasselblad teleconverter attachments are available only on the Oppo Find X9 Ultra and Pro models. Options include 230mm and 300mm teleconverter lenses.
