According to some HyperOS code references, the Redmi Note 17 Pro will be rebadged as the Poco X8 globally.
The news follows an earlier rumor that the vanilla X8 was already canceled. However, according to internal codes that surfaced online, the device is still in development.
The tip also says it will feature a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth unit, the same details found on China’s Note 17 Pro. This further reinforces the idea that it is indeed the same as the Redmi Note 17 Pro in China, which features the following:
