Pre-orders for Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max Wind Edition with built-in fan start in China

After an earlier leak, the Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max Wind Edition is now up for pre-orders in the Chinese market.

News about the device started a year ago. An earlier leak claimed that the Chinese giant would introduce a special variant of the vanilla model with a built-in fan. However, instead of the standard model, it is the Pro Max variant that got the treatment. 

According to the images, the phone is still based on the Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max. Nonetheless, its design undergoes a slight change to accommodate the built-in fan. In addition to the visible fan vents, the quad-camera of the original Pro Max has been reduced to three. 

The phone is now available for pre-order in Polar Night Black and Polar Day Gold. Its configurations include 16GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB.

The other details of the phone are expected to be announced today. Yet, we expect it to adopt the other details of the OG Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max, which features:
