Realme GT 7 Pro to receive bypass charging, UFS 4.1 support in March, April via updates

A Realme official shared that the company would roll out updates to the Realme GT 7 Pro to support bypass charging and UFS 4.1.

The Realme GT 7 Pro was launched in China in November last year, and it is now available globally. Recently, the brand introduced the “Racing Edition” of the phone, which comes with a few downgrades. Yet, it offers some interesting details, including UFS 4.1 storage and bypass charging, which the OG GT 7 Pro lacks.

Thankfully, this will change soon. Chase Xu, Realme Vice President and Global Marketing President, revealed that the company will introduce the features to the Realme GT 7 Pro via updates. According to the executive, the bypass charging will arrive in March, while the update for the UFS 4.1 will be in April.

It is unknown if the update timelines are limited to the Chinese version of the GT 7 Pro since the post was shared on the Chinese platform Weibo. Stay tuned for updates!
