A new Realme GT 7 Pro variant is coming soon. It will sport the same powerful chip as the OG model, but it won’t offer a telephoto unit.
Chase Xu, Realme’s Vice President and Global Marketing President, revealed that the new device will be available soon in China. It is based on the Realme GT 7 Pro, which was introduced in its domestic market in November last year.
While the executive didn’t share the phone’s specifics, the Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition is suggested to be powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Moreover, earlier leaks through certifications confirmed this and also revealed that it has a 16GB RAM option and a 6500mAh battery. Yet, unlike the original GT 7 Pro, earlier reports showed that the Racing edition phone won’t have a telephoto lens.
On a positive note, the phone is expected to be the cheapest model to offer the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. While the brand said that the phone would be unveiled this month, leakers Digital Chat Station and WHYLAB provided a more specific timeline, saying it would happen next week.
