Realme GT 8, GT 8 Pro debut in China… Here are their differences

The Realme GT 8 series is now official. While the two models in the lineup look generally the same, they offer significant differences.

These differences cover the devices’ different sections, including the processor, charging, camera, and design. To start, while the vanilla model has the same circular island design as the GT 8 Pro, the latter has a swappable module system.

Specifically, the Pro variant comes with square, circular, and robot island modules, which can be changed and attached through magnets and two Torx screws. Users can also 3D print their Pro camera island design, as the brand shared its 3D file online.

The Realme GT 8 has a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a 7000mAh battery with 100W charging support, and a 50MP telephoto lens. While this is already impressive, the Pro offers a more impressive set of details, thanks to its Snapdragon Elite Gen 5, the same 7000mAh battery with a faster 120W charging speed, and a more powerful 200MP periscope with 3x optical zoom. On a positive note, like its sibling, the base variant has the same 50MP 1/1.56″ main camera with Ricoh tech.

Both models are available in White, Green, and Blue colorways. The vanilla model’s configurations include 12GB/256GB (CN¥2899/$407), 16GB/256GB (CN¥3199/$449), 12GB/512GB (CN¥3399/$477), 16GB/512GB (CN¥3599/$505), and 16GB/1TB (CN¥4099/$575). The Realme GT 8 Pro, meanwhile, comes in 12GB/256GB (CN¥3999/$562), 16GB/512GB (CN¥4299/$604), 12GB/512GB (CN¥4499/$632), 16GB/512GB (CN¥4699/$660), and 16GB/1TB (CN¥5199/$730).
