A massive leak shows the alleged Realme GT 8 Pro model. The tip also details its major details, including its display, camera, and more.
The upcoming Realme series will launch next month. We previously saw the Pro variant’s live unit concealed by a protective case, but it partially showed us its camera island design. Now, a new leak reveals the purported model’s renders.
The photo complements the earlier leak’s placement of camera lenses, which include two circular cutouts and a square-shaped hole below them. According to the render, the phone has a square camera module and will be available in white, black, and gold colorways. The news follows an earlier tease by a Realme official, who shared that the series would undergo a huge design change.
Aside from the render, the tip shares that the GT 8 Pro would house the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, which will be complemented by Android 6-based Realme UI 6. It also reportedly contains a huge 7000mAh battery with support for 120W charging.
One of the phone’s most interesting parts is its impressive display, which is said to be a 6.78″ AMOLED. According to the leak, it will get a huge upgrade. From the 1.5K 120Hz of its predecessor, the phone is rumored to get a 2K 165Hz flat display.
Ultimately, the phone also welcomes an upgrade in its camera department. Its 50MP main camera will now be joined by a 50MP ultrawide and a 200MP telephoto. To recall, the GT 7 Pro arrived with a 50MP Sony IMX906 main camera with OIS, a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto, and an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide unit.
