Red Magic 11 Pro to feature dual-cooling water, fan system with IP68 rating

Nubia is going all out to create the ultimate cooling system in the Red Magic 11 Pro. In addition to a built-in waterproof cooling fan, the phone is also expected to arrive with a special water cooling feature.

The Red Magic 11 Pro series is arriving on October 17. Ahead of that date, the brand will be holding an offline conference to discuss its water cooling technology, which is said to be featured in its next Red Magic lineup.

Interestingly, in addition to the water cooling feature, the series also has a waterproof built-in fan. This will give the upcoming devices a dual cooling system, effectively dissipating heat within them during heavy usage, such as gaming.

The news follows the brand’s huge efforts in introducing a variety of cooling systems in its past models. For instance, the Red Magic 3 was introduced with a built-in, active cooling fan alongside a liquid-cooling system. However, the Magic 11 Pro series is expected to deliver a more effective, upgraded feature that will further prevent heating in the devices. To recall, the company also gave us the Red Magic 10 Pro and Red Magic 10 Pro+, which have a liquid metal cooling system that works alongside a 23,000rpm centrifugal fan, 12,000mm2 3D ice-step vapor chamber, and 5,2000mm2 copper foil.

What makes the Red Magic 11 Pro series stand out among its siblings is its upgraded protection rating. According to earlier reports, its cooling fan will now be fully protected by an IP68 rating. To recall, the K13 Turbo series debuted with a similar feature. However, the Oppo models were limited to IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 ratings (no dust protection). The Red Magic 11 Pro series, on the other hand, has both dust and water protection.
