Xiaomi’s new entry-level device Redmi 10C was introduced. With its Snapdragon 680 chipset, 6.71-inch screen and 50MP main lens, the Redmi 10C, which tries to offer the best features to people with low budgets, aims to reach a lot of users.
The highlight of the newly introduced Redmi 10C compared to the previous generation Redmi 9C is the significant upgrade from the Helio G35 chipset to the Snapdragon 680 chipset. Produced with TSMC’s 6nm manufacturing technology, Snapdragon 680 is the chipset that is the successor of Snapdragon 662. Both chipsets have Arm’s 4 performance-oriented Cortex-A73 cores and 4 efficiency-oriented Cortex-A53 cores. As a graphics processing unit, the Adreno 610 welcomes us. It should be noted that this chipset is sufficient for your daily use, but it will not satisfy you for performance-demanding operations.
While the 6.71-inch device supports the Wideline L1 certificate, it welcomes us with its dual camera setup. Our main lens is 50MP. Our other lens is the 2MP depth sensor which makes the photos have better bokeh effect. The device, which is powered by a 5000mAH battery, is filled with 18W fast charging support. We should not forget that a 10W adapter comes out of the box of the device. As for the prices, the Redmi 10C will be available in two variants, 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB, with suggested retail prices starting at $149 and $169 respectively.
