The prices for the Redmi 15C configurations in India have been tipped. Unfortunately, the phone is expected to be more expensive than its predecessor.
The Redmi model is expected to debut in the country this month. Although Xiaomi hasn’t yet started teasing the phone, several leaks about it are already emerging. The latest one involves its price tags for its three configurations.
According to well-known leaker Abhishek Yadav, the phone will be available in three variants: 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/128GB, which are allegedly priced at ₹11,500, ₹12,500, and ₹14,500, respectively. Compared to the Redmi 14C, these prices could mean a hike of around ₹1,500 for the lineup. While this is alarming, we suggest taking the details with a grain of salt for now. Yet, this is also not impossible, since several Chinese brands are already hinting at possible price hikes in their future devices.
According to the account, the Reedmi 15C will also feature a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, an HD+ notch display, and a 6000mAh battery. For comparison, the Redmi 14C features a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, a 6.88-inch 120Hz IPS HD+ LCD, a 50MP main camera, and a 5,160mAh battery with 18W charging.
