Redmi will launch the Redmi K50 series of smartphones in China on the 16th of February 2022. The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will be the highest-end smartphone in the series. It may be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset paired with the improved vapour cooling chamber for flawless performance and gaming. Ahead of the next weeks’ official launch, the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition is now available for pre-booking in China via JD.com. It’s an e-commerce site for China and all the smartphones in the series will also be available for purchase on there only. One residing in China can now pre-book the smartphone without any hassles. The full payment of the device will be paid after the official launch or the price reveal.
As for the specifications, the Redmi K50 Gaming Editon will be the most powerful smartphone in the whole Redmi K50 series featuring Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The advanced cooling system will be also provided for better thermal and heat dissipation. The device will further come in gaming-oriented looks with RGB light support around the camera bump, dedicated in-built triggers for gaming, software-based gaming features and much more.
The K50 Gaming Edition will also flaunt a new ultra-wideband CyberEngine haptic engine, the most powerful haptic motor on a smartphone. The smartphone will be gaming and performance-oriented and it is expected to boast a 6.67-inches Super AMOLED Display with QHD+ resolution and 120Hz variable refresh rate support. It will be powered by a 4500mAh battery which will be further rechargeable using the 120W fast HyperCharge support.
