Redmi K90 Pro Max design with built-in speaker revealed; October 23 series launch confirmed

After an earlier leak, Xiaomi has finally showcased the design of the upcoming Redmi K90 Pro Max. The company also confirmed that the series would go official in China next Thursday.

According to the poster, the said model looks similar to the Xiaomi 17 Pro series models. However, instead of a rear display, its horizontal rectangular camera island has an external speaker on the right section. Meanwhile, four circular lens cutouts sit on the right side of the module. The material also confirms that the phone has a grey colorway.

According to earlier reports, the lineup includes the Redmi K90 and the Redmi K90 Pro Max, with the latter joining the CN¥4000+ segment. Both models offer 100W charging, an IP68 rating, and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. However, the Pro Max model reportedly has a bigger 7500mAh battery, while the vanilla variant could have a smaller 7100mAh cell. The series is also rumored to feature “new” displays, dual speakers, and metal frames, with Pro Max offering a 6.59″ flat 2K 120Hz LTPS OLED and a 50MP (1/1.3″ OmniVision OV50Q) periscope unit with macro capabilities.
