Redmi has finally launched its Redmi Note 11 and Redmi Note 11S smartphones in India along with the Redmi Smart TV X43 and Redmi Smart Band Pro. To date, the company has launched three smartphones under its Note 11 series in India i.e., Redmi Note 11T 5G, Note 11 and Note 11S. The Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G and Note 11 Pro 5G is expected to launch after some time.
Redmi Note 11; Specifications
The vanilla Redmi Note 11 has been finally launched in India. The device offers a pretty decent set of specifications such as a 6.43-inches FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz high refresh rate, and 20:9 aspect ratio. Under-the-hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS based storage. The smartphone will boot up on MIUI 13 based on Android 11 out of the box.
It comes with a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary wide sensor followed up by an 8MP secondary ultrawide and a 2MP macro camera at last. It further comes with a 13MP front-facing selfie snapper. It packs a 5000mAh battery with support of 33W Pro fast wired charging support. The phone measures 159.87×73.87×8.09mm in dimension and weighs 179 grams.
Redmi Note 11S; Specifications
As for the Redmi Note 11S, it flaunts the same 6.43-inches FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 4G chipset paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x based RAM and 128GB of UFS based storage. It will also boot up on the Android 11 based MIUI 13 skin out of the box.
It brings a slightly different camera setup compared with the vanilla Note 11, it has a quad rear camera setup with a 108MP primary wide sensor coupled with an 8MP secondary ultrawide, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor at last. The selfie camera has been upgraded to 16MP on this one. While the battery and charging capacity remains the same, i.e., 5000mAh+33W Pro fast charging.
Both the devices are 4G based and connectivity features are same on both the handsets. Both the handsets include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Infrared (IR) blaster, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. They further come with a side-mounted physical fingerprint scanner and face unlock support for the privacy and security of the device.
Pricing and Variants
The vanilla Note 11 will be available in India in three different variants; 4GB+64GB, 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB and is priced INR 13,499(~USD 180), INR 14,499 (~USD 193) and INR 15,999 (~USD 213) respectively. While the Note 11S will be available in three storage configurations in India; 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB and it is priced at INR 16,499 (~USD 220), INR 17,499 (~USD 233) and INR 18,499 (~USD 247) respectively.
The Redmi Note 11 will be available in Horizon Blue, Space Black, and Starburst White colours and the Note 11S will be available in Horizon Blue, Polar White, and Space Black colour variants.
